Action Pinkie Pie

A quick little pic for the heck of it. I made it primarily to have an avatar that I made myself instead of mooching off of someone else's work.

I also took the opportunity to experiment with my style a bit. I used thicker line art and multiple layers of shadows among other things. It turned out pretty well.

I may come back and do a bit more with the background but considering I'm using this as an avatar, anything too detailed will just end up cluttering the picture when its scaled down. Not to mention that I actually feel the simple white and blue background does a good job at emphasizing Pinkie, so while I normally abhor plain backgrounds I may leave it be in this case.

Sketched on paper, scanned and inked on my iPod, and final touches made in Gimp.
